PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
This unit standard is a fundamental standard towards the qualification National Certificate in Retail / Wholesale processes at NQF 2. It provides the fundamental competence to compile verbal and written communications in preparation for core and elective standards at this level. 

LEARNING ASSUMED TO BE IN PLACE AND RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING 
Basic numeracy at NQF Level 1 and Literacy at NQF Level 1.
