PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD
High pressure cleaning assignments often require that hard surfaces are cut or broken down, for a number of reasons, as part of the cleaning function. This unit standard spells out the key procedures, equipment use and requirements for a successful task completion involving high pressure jetting system for the cutting and breaking of cleaning surfaces.

Learners credited with this unit standard will be able to use a high pressure water jetting system to cut and break surfaces.

People credited with this unit standard are able to:
  • Prepare to use a high pressure water cutting system.
  • Operate the high pressure water jetting system to cut surfaces.
  • Perform end of task procedure.

  • LEARNING ASSUMED TO BE IN PLACE AND RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING
