PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
This unit standard is for the crew leader working in a supervisory role on a fire prevention assignment. The need for the involvement of the local community in the prevention of fire is a recognized element of fire prevention.
Assessing, and communicating, the current level of fire risk is an important first step in engaging the local community about fire hazards and fire prevention. This ensures successful planning and implementation of fire prevention programs. People credited with this standard are able to: |
