PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
The persons credited with this Unit Standard will be able to demonstrate an understanding of and prepare a novice horse for lungeing. They will also be able to use terminology such as lunge rein, whip, and verbal commands during the lungeing process. They will be able to lunge a novice horse for training and/or exercise and take off and store the lungeing tack after its use. The qualifying learner is capable of:
