PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
This unit standard is aimed at individuals who are required to apply knowledge of national and international fisheries legislation to ensure compliance through their application of legislation and practical procedures in support of the conservation and protection of our marine and fisheries resources. In addition, knowledge gained will enable the critical evaluation of legislative frameworks pertaining to fisheries and the provision of input relating to legislation relevant to their operational environments.
