This unit standard will be useful to people who work or intend to work within a mining and minerals context.

  • Demonstrate basic understanding of the stratigraphy of the relevant economic deposit.
  • Demonstrate basic understanding of the local and regional distribution of the principle economic horizons within the relevant economic deposit.
