PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
This unit standard will be useful to people training to become diplomats or to work in diplomatic contexts where they will be required to manage the resources and administration of a diplomatic mission.

UNIT STANDARD RANGE |
Diplomats will be supported in their overall management of missions by dedicated corporate and other specialist managers, so the emphasis in this unit standard is on management oversight. |

Provide management oversight of financial resources at a mission. |

Learners are not expected to manage finances directly, as this will be carried out by a corporate services manager. |

Inputs provided to the mission budget ensure the smooth functioning of the mission in accordance with mission objectives. |
