PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
This unit standard requires learners to be able to identify and help prevent fatigue in the workplace. Fatigue is responsible for reduced productivity and increased carelessness and/or error which lead to life threatening situations or emergencies.

Effects of specific medical conditions and prescribed medication are explained in terms of their impact on sleep patterns of individuals. |
