The person credited with this unit standard is able to explain the legal requirements to hold various sales of execution and explain the rights and obligations of the auctioneer and apply the procedures and processes linked to the holding of an auction. Learners will be able to explain the conditions of sale at an auction.

On successful completion of this Unit Standard the learner will be able to:

    An explanation is given of the legal requirements to hold a sale in execution of movable and immovable assets.

    An explanation is given of offer and acceptance as requirements for consensus in the context of a sale of execution.

    An explanation is given of the transfer of ownership and rights to the purchaser in a sale of execution.
