A learner achieving this unit standard in extension and the related technical field will understand and apply the concepts and practices of behaviour change and innovation.

This unit standard will specifically contribute to the qualitative development of learners by providing skills and knowledge at this NQF Level and takes into consideration the principles of progression and articulation.

The learner achieving this unit standard will be able to:
  • Evaluate theories and processes of behaviour change.
  • Evaluate the theories and processes of diffusion and adoption of innovations.
  • Evaluate the theories and processes of participatory technology innovation/development.
  • Evaluate the theories and processes of decision-making among clientele.
