This unit standard is for extension personnel in the appropriate field to Establish sustainable extension structures in a community.
Learners achieving this unit standard will be able to guide communities towards the establishment of sustainable extension community structures. Learners will be able to relate to the different needs and sentiments of a specific community as it relates to applicable fields. This unit standard will specifically contribute to the qualitative development of learners by providing skills and knowledge of natural resource management, community dynamics, the production processes, and institutional support in the context of scientific decision-making.
