This Unit Standard is intended for learners who administer and interpret polygraph examinations and who need to understand how human behaviour can influence an examination result.

Different approaches for explaining human behaviour are analysed with reference to influencing and predicting human behaviour in an examination situation. |

Approaches include, but are not limited to, behaviourist, structuralist, functionalist, gestalt, humanistic, cognitive, cognitive dissonance and personality theories. |
