PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
This unit standard is intended for people who operate in the hunting sector and is required communicate with clients and hunting staff in order to brief individuals effectively in order to ensure safety. The objectives are to brief and convey essential information, also to identify and deal with sources of conflict and provide answers to questions and solutions to problems that may arise. The qualifying learner will be able to communicate effectively with both the client and hunting staff and will be able to:

It is assumed that the learner is competent in Communication Literacy at NQF Level 3. It is further required that the learner has been active as an amateur hunter for a period of two years. It is furthermore assumed that the learner holds the relevant firearms competency and licencing required for the use of firearms. |
