PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
The skills, values and knowledge reflected in this unit standard are required by people in the field of Fluid Power Engineering who are required to determine hydraulic pipe sizes and the pressure losses in a hydraulic pipe installation in order to convey the hydraulic fluid in a efficient and safe manner. The learning outcomes in this unit standard contribute to the exit level outcomes required for an NQF Level 5 Qualification.
