PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
This unit standard is for learners who need special skills and competencies to assist in neighbourhood watch programmes. Learners who want to assist law enforcement agencies and private security companies within the safety in society environment need skills, knowledge and competencies to enable them to perform preventative duties. This unit standard will also contribute to recognised career opportunities and employment possibilities within this sector. The purpose of this unit standard is to enable learners provide a service to their community.
