PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
This Unit Standard will equip the qualifying learner with the competencies to examine the condition of the acoustic piano. The knowledge and skills to undertake this examination will require an understanding of all the components that comprise the acoustic piano and their efficient functioning. The qualifying learner will therefore be able to evaluate condition of the instrument to determine the viability of restoration or repairs.
