UNIT STANDARD RANGE |
Practitioners credited with this unit standard, in addition to being able to plan and implement an existing environmental learning programme, will also be able to develop an original environmental learning programme. The environmental learning programme should promote a positive environmental ethic and action for a better environment.
The equivalent unit standard at level 5 on the NQF requires the practitioner to take responsibility for his or her role in implementing an environmental learning programme. This unit standard, on the other hand, requires the practitioner to take full responsibility for implementation of the environmental learning programme as a whole. This may include briefing others involved in presenting the learning programme, and organising its implementation. Having gained experience in reflecting critically on their own practice, this unit standard enables the learner to evaluate and improve the learning programme based on feedback obtained from colleagues and others. |
