This unit is for people who fell and process trees into products using a harvester in a production situation. People credited with this unit are able to:

UNIT STANDARD RANGE |
Competence can be demonstrated on any harvester. In pine operations trees must be felled, debranched and cross-cut OR in Eucalyptus operations trees must be felled, debranched, debarked and cross-cut in order to demonstrate competence. Demonstration of competence will take place "on-the-job" in a production situation. Production target needs to be met. |
