This Unit Standard will be useful to learners who wish to apply the key doctrines of the Christian faith to the personal, religious and social dimensions of their lives.

At least four key doctrines. These may include doctrines of creation, sin, salvation, trinitology, Christology, pneumatology, ecclesiology and the sacraments |
ASSESSMENT CRITERIA |
ASSESSMENT CRITERION 1 |
Links between the formal statements of the doctrines and the way the doctrines are embodied are explained by observing the way the Church functions. |
ASSESSMENT CRITERION RANGE |
An example might be the link between an historical statement of the doctrine of the sacraments and the way that reverent and informed celebration of those sacraments might sustain the life of the Church |

The links between the formal statements of and the embodiment of the doctrines to show how these doctrines are explained to show how these doctrines affect the life and work of the Church. |

An example might be the link between a statement of the doctrine of the Holy Spirit (pneumatology) and the way that a Christian's worship life might be enhanced by an understanding of that doctrine. |
