This Unit Standard is for all people working in the Auctioneering industry and is aimed at developing their knowledge and skill in being able to identify, classify and lot sale items so as to expedite an auction.

    The various types of products which can be sold by auction are identified and an explanation given of which are best suited to an auction and which to a private sale
