PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
This Unit Standard is for the person who is involved with the preparing and arranging of auction advertising, with the preparation for an auction, with preparing the site of an auction and with the cleaning and the repairing of items/lots for auction.

A Newspaper advert is compiled and placed in the appropriate publication to meet auction requirements and budgeting restraints. |

Signs and/or banners are designed according to auction requirements and erected and displayed in strategic places in accordance with local authority by-laws. |
ASSESSMENT CRITERION 4 |
Posters are designed according to auction requirements and erected in accordance with local authority by-law. |

Leaflets are designed according to auction requirements and printed within budgeted allocation and distributed according to identified target group. |
