This unit standard has as its core purpose, qualifying learners who will demonstrate a basic understanding of international law and economic diplomacy.
Learners will demonstrate an understanding of the United Nations and other World Organizations and the importance of such organizations in diplomacy. Important international treaties are identified and the role of these treaties in diplomacy explained. Integrated assessment: It may be more effective and efficient to assess a number of unit standards together thus reducing the number of assessment "events".
