PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
The person credited with this unit standard is able to prepare their workstation and their client for eye lash permanent waving and perform the eye lash permanent waving. Learners will also have both an enhanced theoretical understanding and the practical ability to prepare for and conduct eyelash permanent waving.

The permanent waving lotion is selected and the appropriate rods are selected and placed on the edge of the lashes. |

The glue is applied according to manufacturers instructions. |

The lashes are curled over the rods ensuring that the lashes are not crossed. |
ASSESSMENT CRITERION 4 |
Crescent shaped eye pads are placed under the lower lashes and the permanent waving lotion is applied according to manufactures instructions. |

The treatment is timed according to manufactures instructions. |
