PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
Learners acquiring this standard will be learning towards obtaining National Certificate in Hairdressing Support: NQF Level 2 or are working within a hairdressing environment, where acquisition or competence against this standard will add value to learners job, or chances of finding employment.
This standard will allow the learner to advance to learning for a qualification at NQF level 3. This standard will enhance the social status within the hairdressing industry by having more competent people who now have both the practical ability and an enhanced understanding of moulding and fingerwaving the hair.
