The purpose of this unit standard is to enable learners to:
  • Plan sound productions.
  • Perform pre-production, sound techniques.
  • Interpret of musical requirements of the specific sound production.

    The unit standard contributes to the competence of those learners who want to pursue a career in Sound Engineering, and contribute to greater levels of competence, and thus productivity and quality in the Music Industry.
