PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
This unit standard is for people who work, or intend to work in a Yacht and Boat Building environment where composite marine components, are constructed and/or repaired.
The learner will be able to select and apply the appropriate resin/cloth/core materials in both new construction and repair procedures. The successful student will also be able to perform basic cosmetic repairs to fibreglass structures damaged by impact. People credited with this unit standard are able to: |
